INVITATION TO A VoIP CONFERENCE

1) Download and install 'free' software client from
http://www.ventrilo.com/download.php
[There are Windows, MAC and possibly a Linux version.]

2) Start 'Ventrilo' to create a new account for your self

3) In 'Ventrilo' create a New Server connection called
'Brain' with the address hostname brain.mgh.harvard.edu or
IP address 132.183.171.165 on Port number 3784

4) In 'Ventrilo' Connect to 'Brain'

Ventrilo Configuration: under Ventrilo 'Setup' button you can enable
'Use Push-To-Talk Hotkey' and set the 'Hotkey' to any key you
choose simply by clicking on that box and then pressing the desired
key. Usually, everything works well with the default install settings.
You can 'tweak' the sound quality under the 'Setup' 'Speech' tab.

The 'Lobby' is a PUBLIC space and does not require a password.
The 'MolecNeurosurg' is a PRIVATE space and requires a password

To coordinate a Ventrilo VoIP Conference, email a date & time
for participants to join the Conference.
