Six months of Neurosurgery.

This presentation is intended to serve as an introduction to Neurosurgery.

It is based on six months of neurosurgical practice during which I served as Chief of one of the four Neurosurgical Services at the Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts.

These slides are from a lecture given in the Etherdome of the Bullfinch Building, where general anesthesia for surgery was first publicly demonstrated.
